LUPIN was founded in 1981, and the name derives from Liss Unites People In Need. We are a group of friendly volunteers who assist people in Liss and the surrounding villages of Hawkley, Greatham, Rogate and Rake.
We provide volunteer drivers to take people to medical appointments and can provide help with shopping. We also offer a befriending service to housebound villagers who would appreciate some company.
Our volunteers are DBS checked and the group has public liability insurance.
We are one of more than 110 similar groups in Hampshire who are supported by the Good Neighbours Network (https://www.goodneighbours.org.uk/), which is funded by the Diocese of Portsmouth, Winchester and Guildford, Hampshire County Council and Hampshire's NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.
To organise a driver for your appointment or to find out more about our other services please call our Co-ordinator (Duty Officer) on 01730 892572, preferably between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Mondays to Fridays.
